Can you briefly introduce yourself?

Luc: I’m a serial entrepreneur, and I’ve co-founded companies such as Goodliz, Polygone Formation, and Priveos.


Can you introduce Goodliz in 3 minutes?

Luc: Goodliz is a revolutionary solution that connects landlords and tenants through a Rental Identity Record (RIL). This RIL facilitates tenants' access to housing by reducing discrimination and organizing their rental files. At the same time, it provides landlords with the assurance of avoiding payment issues and property damage.

Goodliz is an innovation in the real estate sector.


How did the idea for Goodliz come about?

Luc: The initial idea came from one of my co-founders, Harlem, and together (with Matthieu and Harlem), we built all the features necessary to meet the needs of both tenants and landlords.

Between the initial concept and the current Goodliz solution, there’s a significant evolution... but that’s often the case when launching a business.


How does Finovox integrate into your daily operations?

Luc: Finovox is essential for us because it allows us to verify the documents needed to facilitate relationships between our users.

For example, Finovox checks property tax records or ownership titles for landlords. This guarantees tenants that the landlord is legitimate and not a fake account attempting to fraudulently collect identity documents.

It also helps us avoid “complacency RILs.” With Goodliz, all parties feel reassured, and this is made possible because Finovox validates every supporting document submitted.

Luc: The most critical documents are proof of address and property titles.


How do you use Finovox?

Luc: We use Finovox daily, starting from the moment landlords register on our platform.

All their documents are then analyzed via the Finovox API. Following this, we apply a double-check with a human review.
